Swimming Carnival

The School Swimming Carnival was held at the Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre on Wednesday. It was a sea of colour, with students looking fabulous in their House shirts. The day began with House cheers lead by our House Captains. Students who were not quite up to swimming 50m had the opportunity to swim in multiple 25m fun races to practice their skills. There was also lots of fun to be had in the indoor pool, as students spent time playing games in their House Groups throughout the day.

This year saw the introduction of an Aquathon, in which the students swam 50m, followed by a run and then finished off with another 50m, all after an action packed day of racing. I bet they all slept well that night.

A big thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped the day run smoothly.

The IPSHA Swimming Carnival will be held at Homebush Aquatic Centreon Wednesday,4 March 2020. Students are able to check the notice board to see if they have qualified.
