da Vinci Decathlon 2021

On Monday, 29 March, 16 students from Years 5 and 6 represented St. Peter's at the da Vinci Decathlon, hosted by Illawarra Christian School. 40 teams of 8 students competed in tasks relating to 10 disciplines that required higher order thinking skills, creativity and perseverance. 

 

Congratulations to our Year 5 team who won 1st place in Science, 2nd place in Mathematics and 3rd place in Legacy. Well done Dilruwani, Leona, Leya, Benny, Tristan, Matilda, Joshua and Emily. 

 

Congratulations also to our Year 6 team: Saskia, Kainoa, Nishith, Lily, Jesse, Lucy, Ahaana and Joshua. These students won 1st place in Creative Producers, 3rd place in Engineering and 3rd place in Legacy.

 

It was an exciting and rewarding experience for all students involved and we commend them on their excellent effort and achievement.
