Uniform Matters

Mrs Michelle McDonnell - Principal
It has been very exciting to begin to see some students wearing our new uniform over the past few weeks, and even more exciting witnessing many students seeing themselves in the uniform for the first time as they visit St Peter's Shop for fittings.
A final remainder that all 2023 Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Year 3 students must be wearing the new uniform from the beginning of the new school year, inclusive of bags, hats and other accessories.  An order form/price list has been emailed to Kindergarten and Year 2 families this week.
A copy of the Order Form/Price List is attached below.
We look forward to seeing these cohorts, as well as some of our other students in our new uniforms.

We remind families of the following uniform rules regarding shoes:
- Formal school shoes must be black polished shoes (buckle, velcro or laces), and must not be a sneaker style black shoes.
- Sports shoes must be plain white (velcro or laces)

We thank you for abiding by these rules as you purchase new school shoes for your children.

Carpark Safety

It is important that we all take carpark safety seriously.  Parents are reminded that they should not walk students through the lines of traffic, or attempt to cross the entry to the school driveway from the Bowling Club carpark at any time.  Families utilising the Bowling Club carpark should walk their children towards St Peter's Church/Mawson Park and along the path to the front of the school.
Students should only enter or exit vehicles in the designated bays, and generally with the assistance of staff members during peak times.
Thank you for working with us to keep all members of our school community safe.

Campbelltown Anglican Churches - Christmas Services

Teen Ranch Holiday Adventure Programme

Whole School Christmas Chapel

On Wednesday, we held our end of year Christmas Chapel. What a fitting way to end our Chapel services for the year. I'd like to thank Miss Burns, Mr Bullen, Mr Twist and our Dean of Biblical Studies Mr Stevenson for their outstanding work in faithfully sharing the Gospel message with our students throughout the year during Chapel. What a blessing it is to work alongside the Campbelltown Anglican Church Ministry Team! I'd like to especially acknowledge the amazing contribution made by Mr Twist over the last decade. Thank you for your faithful service, guidance and friendship. You will be greatly missed by all at St Peter's, but we know you will be a tremendous blessing to your new church community in Kingswood.

December - Here We Come!

Here is what love is. It is not that we loved God. It is that he loved us and sent his Son to give his life to pay for our sins. (1 John 4:10 NIV)

Dear friends, this term has flown by! We hope you have enjoyed the school events this term; it is lovely to host so many events back on campus and see so many people. Congratulations to all students who have been given awards. Monday was a lovely time to celebrate God's goodness and His love for all of us. And so, with John's words ringing in our ears, this Christmas let's give thanks for Jesus, whose death allows us to be part of God's family forever.

God bless you all.

Last Day/Mufti Day

Please be reminded that the school year concludes on Tuesday, 6 December 2022. On the last day, students will be permitted to wear mufti clothing and will enjoy a complimentary barbeque lunch to celebrate the end of year.

Year 6 Farewell Assembly

The Year 6 Farewell Assembly will be held on Tuesday, 6 December at 1.45 pm in the School Hall. Year 6 parents and carers are welcome to attend where we will join as a school to celebrate the learning and accomplishments of our Year 6 students. The assembly will culminate with the final ringing of the bell to celebrate the end of their primary education.

Thank You!

In this final edition of the 2022 newsletter, I'd like to express my heartfelt thanks to the entire St Peter's community for your partnership and support this year. We truly have a wonderful school and it has been an honour to serve the students, staff and families of St Peter’s this year in the role of Head of the Preparatory School. It has given me a unique perspective and understanding of our amazing school and a greater appreciation of the wonderful community we hold dear. I look forward to 2023 and the opportunity to reconnect with students in the classroom environment.

Wishing your family a blessed Christmas holiday period. We look forward to welcoming you back to St Peter's in the New Year.
