Uniform Matters

It has been wonderful to see a number of students beginning to wear their new St Peter's Anglican Grammar uniforms over the past couple of weeks. All uniform items for boys and most items for girls (Dresses due to arrive early January) are now ready for purchase from our School Shop.

A reminder that this uniform, including bags and hats are compulsory for the following grades in 2023: Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Year 3. Students in all other grades are welcome to begin purchasing the new uniform as they grow out of their current ones.

We are aware that it is sometimes difficult for families to get to the School Shop during the week. Our School Shop staff are happy to assist with the process of purchasing new uniforms by fitting students during the day and then contacting parents for payment. Student Led Conferences - Kindergarten to Year 6

Our annual Student Led Conferences will take place next Wednesday, 23 November 2022 commencing at 3.30pm until 7.00pm for students in Kindergarten to Year 6.

Student Led Conferences are not Parent Teacher Interviews. Teachers will stand back to allow students to take resposibility in sharing their learning.

This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to step into the classroom with your child/ren, and share in aspects of their learning.

Bookings can be made through our parent portal: http://sentral.stpeters.nsw.edu.au/portal

You will only need to make one booking per child. Each booking will have up to four families per session.

If a conference group is full, please check the other available conference groups.

Bookings will close on Monday, 21 November 2022 at 10.00am.

We look forward to welcoming you on this afternoon.

Toys 'n' Tucker 2022

It's time to share the joy this Christmas!

2022 has been a challenging year for many, especially those already doing it tough. This is our opportunity to make sure vulnerable families still experience the joy of Christmas.

Please donate Toys 'n' Tucker either online on place items under our Christmas tree in the School Office.

How will the Online process work?

1. Purchase items on the Toys ‘n’ Tucker Shop page
2. Hampers will be packed at our Anglicare Warehouse
3. Drop off your gift of food and toys (unwrapped) to the School Office
4. Your gifts will be packed into hampers and distributed by Anglicare Staff and Anglican Churches to those most in need.

Together, we can provide food and toys for thousands of vulnerable families who would otherwise go without.

We will be collecting physical items up until Tuesday, 29 November 2022.

We hope you can help us support this amazing cause by sharing the joy this Christmas.

2023 Class Orientations

Kindergarten - Year 6 Class Orientations will be held in week 8 so that all students will finish the year knowing who their 2023 teacher will be and know the students that will be in their class. New students will also have the opportunity to attend and we know that they will be warmly welcomed to St Peter’s.

Please understand that we are unable to make changes to class placements as there are many factors used to determine the best class for each child. We look forward to a great year ahead and thank you for your understanding and support.

Fundraising Colour Event – Thursday, 3 November 2022

Congratulations to all families who have helped to fundraise over $19,000 for our school so far through sponsoring their children in this cool event. A Great fun day was had by all as everyone got covered in powder. Well done to Class KR for raising over $3,400!

Year 6 Farewell Assembly

The Year 6 Farewell Assembly will be held on Tuesday, 6 December at 1.45 pm in the School Hall. Year 6 parents and carers are welcome to attend where we will join as a school to celebrate the learning and accomplishments of our Year 6 students. The assembly will culminate with the final ringing of the bell to celebrate the end of their primary education.
